last nights drama...tales from day z
Posted: Mon Feb 10, 2014 2:36 pmSo myself, mike and tom were over by the north east airfield. the server had just restarted and we headed over to try find some ammo for mike's empty sks rifle.
mike ran ahead across the runway, with me about 20 yards behind. As he ran round the corner of the building heading for the front door i heard rapid gunfire and mike shouting over skype that he'd been gunned down.
I heard more gunfire but wasn't sure if it was aimed at me or not, but as i was still out in the open i zig zagged as i ran hoping not to be hit. once i reached the corner of the building i ran out, m4 raised, 30round mag loaded. There was mikes dead body with some guy in cammo holding an m4 stood over looting his corpse.
There was no mercy, no chance to surrender. i opened fire and emptied half the mag into him, watching in satisfacton as his lifeless corpse slumps to the floor.
Before i had a chance to do anything i hear a roar and get sent flying, a zombie had run up and hit me. Spinning round i blasted him 5 times. All this gunfire was sure to attract other zombies and people to the area so i quickly ran past the two dead bodies and took shelter in the building.
Tom is at this point making his way across to me, just outside of the building i hear him shouting in a scared, high pitch breaking voice 'PUT YOUR HAnds UP noW!! i wiLL SHOOT DON't fckiNG MOVE!!'
At this point i assume he's captured someone so i tell him i'm coming out of the building to cover him, just as i get to the door there is the sound of gunfire and tom yelling he's been killed.
i pause at the doorway, not wanting to run out knowing there are at least two others out there. At that point one of them comes up the steps to enter the building (not realising i'm there) i empty the rest of the mag into him before he even knew what hit him.
i quickly reloaded, but before i could rush the last guy the server took that moment to crash, sparing one of us death!
