Sounds a cracking idea to me. Shame it has to be plugged into a cig lighter. No doubt you could hard wire it so that it is neater and then hang it off the rollcage?

It's also a shame that people have tried to troll this thread. That's probably the reason for this sites decline, people seem to want to troll/be a cunt on EVERY thread.

There is a time and a place. This is neither of those.

Years ago, a cretin tried to reverse into me, at a set of traffic lights. Luckily I was on the bike, so could move sharpish.

There's plenty bellends out there these days.

Not trolling here, the idiots i encounter on the road mean sooner or later a dashcam will prove liability when one of these mongs causes an accident.

I need one with a wide field of view but obviously the image quality needs to be good with decent frames per second. It sounds like your camera is one used in CCTV cameras, which is why i want to know the make and size of the CCD. No point in paying £100 for a camera with a poor quality CCD.

haa lostboy actually made me laugh being simple,,

ive been thinking about one of these for a while,, not only to save me a bollocking (driving sensibly 90% of the time)

but also a few other uses,, catching a rolling view of the stunning countryside i drive through on a weekly basis, to catch all the near missus, i have and others have infront which would prove entertaining,,

and obviously a rally ame for when im literaly thrashing the shit out of the work car colin mcrae style down the a and b roads of tri lothian + boarders counties of scotland,, som amazing roads up there seriously,

fuck the ssound volume off, all your guna hear is blairing dubstep/dnb/garage or me reacting to sum how getting round that corner at that speed without hitting the arnco and flying of the edge of 1000ft cliff edge,,

10,000 miles a month should get some good footage :D

Agreed

If its not ccd its not worth having. CCD is a far better sensor, Cmos produces incorrect colours and poor fps.
