Porsche 911 Carrera 4. Silver coupe with black leather.

Manual 6 speed gearbox with 4 wheel drive, approx 330bhp

I am selling as I have my heart set on either a Ferrari or 911 turbo.

Here's what the motoring press have said about the car

"As a driving experience, this is second to none. Superb handling, steering that just feels as you want it to feel, brilliant brakes, a slick 6 speed gearbox and 7500 revs to play with. This is a use it everyday supercar" - Tiff needell

"Compared with the previous 993 model, the 996 represented a virtual redesign. Cosmetically, it moved Porsche on in many significant yet subtle ways: the lines were smoothed out, the windscreen was raked right back, the cabin was roomier and the facia finally looked like it had been styled, though some preferred the classic Porsche look. The structure managed the neat trick of being 45 per cent stiffer yet lighter than the older model. And the early 911 handling quirks were further ironed out" - Evo magazine

***MORE INFO***
Taxed and MOT'd
Detailed service history
Just had a new radiator fitted (pinhole leak!) and coolant / oil change. Plus new filters and sump plug.
Front end resprayed to rid stone chips under 10k ago
Car will be supplied on genuine Porsche 18" Sport Classic 2 rims (cost option for this car) with excellent tyres.
I can include Focal Polyglass front component speakers and double DIN touchscreen headunit for a little extra

Does not leak a single drop of oil or fluids! Gearchange is smooth, brakes are good, clutch good, suspension good. Starts first time every time, engine pulls smoothly and cleanly at all times. It's never missed a beat.

***BAD POINTS***
- I lost the main key for the car, backup key works fine you just lose the remote central locking. I have the Porsche card for acquiring a new coded key from main dealer if you wish (£110)
- Indicators do not auto cancel for some reason, I think I disturbed the squib when removing the wheel (easy fix)
- Aircon is cool but not icy cold. May need a regas?

***LOCATION, PRICE AND P/X***
- Car is in Nottingham just off M1 Junction 26
- Asking only £12k with the private plate, which is a massive loss as to what it owes me in purchasing and modifying it
- Will P/X, cash either way, anything considered but no Fords, or 4x4s. Would be particularly interested in Calibras, Astra Mk4 turbo, Astra VXR, BMW M3 /330d (not old style), Civic Type-R or possibly a fast Audi.
- Test drives are available if I have proof of fully comp insurance and the money in my hand, otherwise I will be driving

That's a LOT of car for that price.

The poser in me should go for that but I will hold out for my acid yellow V6 255. May opt for a 355 if one doesn't come up in the next 12 months?

Good luck with the sale chief! :tu:

Ta mate

And Billy, when you're in Liverpool A&E with your liver giving up, think of me cruising round in this listening to epic 80's tunes <3

I'll be in Liverpool A&E going through the changing rooms sniffing the nurse's knickers and stealing their purses.

I don't know the first thing about porsches, except that looks absolutely mint in those pics and I'm amazed that's the second hand price on them now!

Yeah not much to spend at all and it's probably dropping the value of the car by a fair chunk.

But I can't be arsed, got better things to do than worry over petty stuff :tu:
