I am sure I have asked before but meh,
Where's decent for Tripods, ideally to fold down to around 12 inches,
Is there anything in particular to look out for or avoid

Yeah, I think you have asked this before, not sure anyone came up with a solution either. I'm sure theres some sort of 'mini' tripod you can buy, I'm not sure if it's around 12 inches folded though.
