Whats It Worth?

Start of May i bought my mum the following -

Canon 1000d + 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens
Sandisc 8GB Memory Card
Tamron 70-300 F4/5.6 Lens

I paid £470 for it and its sat in the box NEVER been used. How Much can i get for this as she has asked me to sell it as she will never use it

is £350 to little? to much?

I'd try and get at least £400 kev. That model of camera is going for about £315 cheapest, then with lenses on top...If you sell it on fleabay, get some tips from Bry about doing the advert, he's got some good tips! (Although I'm sure a lot of people on here are ebay experts )

Sell it for £300, weigh it, stuff the box you're posting full of something so it's a similar weight, post it special delivery, rake in the dollar. Repeat as many times as you see fit

The camera & kit lens are probably worth £350 ish, the 70-300 is probably worth another £60-£70.

If I thought my dad would use it, i'd have it off you as he used to be into photography, couldn't justify it though as it'd probably end up being re-sold.

Split it up and stick it back on talk photography fella, I dont think it's un-realistic asking £350 ONO for a brand new 1000D w/ kit lens, at all.
