Photo comp Sep-Oct voting

Problem is with Meoxmix's breakdown, is that those who submit photos are a bit hard pressed to describe them, without being overly/underly praising their own. Also, how will you know who is voting for their own, as no-one publishes the photos with their name? Sure, you can take educated guesses dependant on style - I've got my guesses on who's is who's, but unless you get a list of who done what of Jay???

Also agree about people voting for their own. I won't do for mine, as I'd like to see if anyone actually likes my work But something may need to be done, although I would like to think most of us are adults and won't resort to doing this?

Agreed, I'd like to think that people would choose the best of the other pictures. That's what I've done. Meowmix's post is really good and constructive, and whilst I appreciate about not commenting on your own, you could always offer a selection of comments to a couple of others as to what you like/dislike. If it gets more popular, then there will be plenty of photos for everyone to comment on.

Really good results and pictures this month! I'm well impressed. I definitely liked Meowmix's comments on all pictures, that way people with the not so great pictures are still getting feedback.

Yeah great response this month.

I was going to make the poll viewable as it has crossed my mind before about people voting for their own picture.

Next month I shall sort it.

Also Next months comp will start at the beginning of the month run 3 weeks then say a week of voting?

So this poll will end sooner than it should but meh.

jesus the game has well and truely been upped!! they are some fab pics, ive been mega busy with wedding plans lately so i have not had much chance to get on here much (not that iwill have been missed ) but once things have calmed down a bit i will deffo be entering in the comp again.

Don't reckon that would happen TBH. Simply because, most people vote for the AWWWW factor in most circumstances.

some really amazing piictures - apart from the spiders - i have not been able to look at them in detail as I hate spiders so I quickly scrolled the page down...

I liked 4 and 10 the best
