Well, that's the idea. Only cost buttons, so it'll be a laugh, until I get a DSLR anyway. Will get photos of it (LOL) shortly :)

PS> It ain't Nikon

Jay, having been brought up on film (and slide) photography it's an absolute cracking idea to get a film camera. Get a good slow film (as well as good optics) and you will far surpass anything in the prosumer DSLR market.

Have fun.

V.

Cheers for the advice V.

I'm hoping that I can pick up some good glass pretty cheap for it, it only comes with standard lens AFAIK, but I'm gonna try and build up a decent kit with it. Just need to wait for it to arrive now :8)

I need some sort of amuement. No-one uses their PS3 anymore, so I'm stuck with having to irritate yank wankers on Burnout and COD4.

Did you dig the camera out Jay?

Here it is, my relic from the past...

Pentax SF7 with 80-200 and 35 - 70 lens. Just got to wait of the gay battery to be delivered now, and get some rolls of film :D. If I get along with it, I may invest in darkroom equipment too...

Looks alright that J.

My dads got an old Pentax, he bought it for £300 reduced from £600, in 1988.

Seems pretty solid build, makes the Fuji feel quite cheap in comparison, Quite a few lenses available too, so may start looking for more lenses once I've got used to it. Can even use the filters I got for the Fuji on the telephoto too :pmsl:
