well got me car




finally 1 week late it arrived had a look round it etc its done 91k not bad it is 12 yr old and its not in that bad of condition bit of surface rust on the 1/4 (they all rust in same place apparently?) inside the door shut and some on the bonnet (probs caused by stone chips) but the arches are still sold

well then... then plans

so far my main one is to get any rust etc sorted so i have a sold base witch to start with


bodywork
standard bumpers with laguna splitter smooth in and the lines on the bumper etc smoothed and the back same again just smooth possable bad boy bonnet and should be getting some corsa c six alloys for it next week or week after then thats it i think nice n subtle

interior

wanted a corsa c dash but tbh cant be arsed with the amount of modding etc is needed to fit

so staying with the std dash probly just color coded or maybe flocked

and as for the rest (atm has this horrible Grey interior) I'm after a sport or gsi one or am gonna see about getting them dyed just in black

boot stripped ready for smooting this week sometime :D (got my boot pop today)

had some rust on the bonnet grinded it all out

slapped and i mean slapped lol some filler over the top

sanded down still not 100% smooth needs filling again realy

so anyways did all that to the bonnet but decided to get a new 1 instead as i want a guarantee that the rust will not return in like 6-12 month time when its all been painted etc! :lol:


will be updates near enogh daily lol working onit every nite after work want it painted by end of next month ideal so am not pising around with preping bodywork in the cold dark autum months lol

another update!

the shell is now ready for paint! just need preping

was gonna do it gloss black but decided it would be too much so now thinking about getting it flcoked with orange stiching to match the paintwork :)

PROJECT NOW ENDED due to lots of prolbems that wopuld cost more than the car is worth to sort out
