Hiya Lee, welcome to R2C, hope you like it and stick around. :D

You can start modding whenever you like, but watch out for the price of insurance! Insurance will probably be expensive anyway when you pass your test but even more so when you start modifying it. :( Or are you going on your parents insurance?

best bet is to try get your own insurance as soon as possible so you can build up your own ncb

although i did read on the side of a bus that Direct line now give NCB to Named drivers on their policy (you'll have to check that out)

I started subtle stuff (interior) when I was 19, only moved onto other mods like alloys etc when I was 20-21 and money allowed.
