Not done one of these project threads for quite a while and not quite sure where it's going yet. I bought the XR3I Cabby off Glenda as a bit of a project to tinker with while i'm off work having treatment and to keep myself a bit active. It's not the prettiest thing on the road and it never will be but with a bit of fettling it should be half decent by summer (with any luck)

The first pictures i got of it made it look a bit better than what it is although to be fair to billy he did warn me it's not a minter and that it will need work doing. Anyway here are some of the pics i managed to grab today.

Not the original engine as i found out when trying to get an air filter for it. The efi engine wasn't introduced till roundabout 1991 and this is a 1989

Well that's it for the pictures for today.

Whats been done so far

Added 3 litres of oil to it seeng as there wasn't a drop on the dipstick
Bought 2 tyres for it so at least i have matching sizes rather than 4 out of 5 tyres being a differant size
Intrerior has been removed and cleaned and put back in


Things that need doing in the next week or so

MOT to see if it's worth spending time and money on or weather it's going to be broken
Alloys need refurbing
Wash, buff and polish
Full service
Change headlights for standard
Sort front indicators out
