Horizons arent level :(

Try and remember the rule of thirds!

I'll be honest that non of them jump out at me.

Crash Course In Digital Photography - BTTOS

Have a quick read of that to get you started, but theres loads more on TalkPhotography.

Try to split the image down into thirds as you find you get better composition (9 times out of 10 anyhow) then having the subject smack bang in the middle.

Try and think about what you are trying to capture and how you can draw the eye into the photo and give it depth. You dont want to just be taking snap shots on auto ;)

as Ban says really rule of thirds level horizon and work out what you actually want in the foreground and focus on that, first one has potential to be a good shot, could even be sorted in PS.

To give you a quick idea, quick mess with the 1st one.

(although only saved to photobucket so quality aint great)

Crop, colours (looked a little washed out) and straighened
