I was at a wedding at the weekend and the Bride is a good friend of Amy's (the missus) and they told me to come along and take some pictures of everyone at the wedding...

So i will over the next few days be posting some that i have taken, I would quite like people to tell me what they think, as i am considering spending a little bit of cash to get back into taking pictures..

Here is the first ppicture i have processed. I will be adding watermarks when i have the chance..

Just a shame the pews are at either side, would look better with the main focus being the only focus TBH.

you could crop the bottom out but you'd have to lop off the cross or the candles up top to balance it.

Not a fan of portrait framed shots much. Landscape for the win.

Nice leading lines. Would have looked better with a wider aperture and less in focus but I suppose that's probably due to the equipment that you're using.

I'd have gone for a 'Widescreen/pano' look personally.

E-mail the RAW shot to danny.beattie21@gmail.com and I'll show you what I mean?

Yea i was using a Sigma 70-200mm lense. Didn't have the wide angle one available.

I was also using a 50mm Sigma lense too, i will post alot of the photo's that i have taken when i have the chance. I was using a Canon 50d camera too. I borrowed it from someone at work as he trusts me when i use his stuff as i am still within 2 minds to buy some more camera stuff...

The raw file is a CR2 file, is that what you mean? Also what you using to open the RAW files?

Cheers

Yeah, that's the one.

I use Lightroom for all my RAW editing and processing.

is it my eyes, or is it OOF? or is that the desired effect?

The only thing that should be in focus is the people.
