need new zorst gasket, new brake pads ;) mi 16 accel cable and few other bits n bobs will be dropping engine in prob next week depends on cambelt situation :)

engine looms been sent along with a 405 loom to get re wired together and make 1 perfect factory look plug and play loom ..

any luck it should be here by weekend so should fire up for the first time :D

Engine looms got robbed, bloodie rip off to$$er

so put the mi engine up for sale and found a complete 1.9 gti engine with loom ecu, all plumbing etc, for a tasty 150 notes, engine basically paid for itself :D

so hoping to collect that this weekend if i can find someone nice to help me go get it ( i ent got a car at min lol )

then shell be throwin out 130 bhp, instead of 150 .. but atleast itll be workin again :)

new engine arrived on saturday :D, was a nice drive down to crew,

and whilst there the lovelly fella i bough tit off helped me out by throwing in a set of lowered dampers and springs, font only, which were more than needed,

a perfectly working set of brake calipers and pads, again sooo needed as mine were locked up to foook,

and i got my engien, all for 150 notes,

MINTER, now jus some engine paint, some degreaser and polish for the engine bay and im almost there,

jus gettin some new drop links, and some new track rod ends and bottom ball joints and im almost ready to rebuild it :D

winner !!!

stuck for gettin a bloodie engine crane ,,

kinda forgot how heavy a full engine n box are, cant lift it in like you can drop em out :lol: ..

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

got 3 weeks or so to get it built n atleast rolling before i move house lol ..

anyone got a large van they wouldnt mind helpin us move a engine crane with ?
