There was a family day at Airbus Hawarden for employees of Airbus to celebrate 40 years of Airbus 'In Da Ouse', Bit of an air display was to be put on so off I trotted with my camera,
The only problem is that I still aint had a good play with my camera to see whats what and how to use the thing, so settings wise, well there were no settings so here are some n00b styleeeeeee straight from the cam.

Cloud cover was weird, black cloud/white cloud/no cloud/blue sky dependant on which way you turned, we were right on the flight path so sore neck and lots of undercarriage *Wayhey* 8)

Saw some of those today when at the match. What the fuck are those white one with red wing tips and RAF badges?
They went like fuck and were fucking ace to watch!

Bollocks, just read through the thread and saw that the Vulcan was there. Gutted I didn't go now, would have been worth the admission price just to see that. Read a fantastic book about the Vulcans in the Falklands War, one of the best books I've ever read as it goes and the story was legendary.

No, it was dangling from abit of string and some dude on a big tannoy was mnaking vrooom vrooosh noises
Seriously, awesome piece of kit, had a real presence about it as I first saw it come into view, proper menacing, It came over on chilled throttle and you just know it was built to mean business, fucking massive thing it is too, did a couple of loops then a low low fly by with a big thrust up, awesome sound that rumbled my ribcage and upset a few car alarms and kids 8)

The A380 followed it and we had a Scanner radio jobby so could hear what was being said between ground and air and the A380 gave a runing commentry, the pilot said he tried to make up time getting there as he was a Vulcan pilot in his younger days and wanted to see its display,
That things big too, but fuck me its quiet
