heylo peoples..... I'm new so am introducing myself... I'm simon, live in stroud in gloucestershire with my pregnant girly friend and 2 year old son, I own a vauxhall owners and enthusiasts club called www.purevaux.co.uk and drive a flame red corsa-b undergoing a few mods at the moment including custom bumpers as I feel what I already have is becoming too common and want to steer away from that "off the shelf" look. Hoping to be getting a 2.2turbo from a VX220 at some point or a C20LET from a calibra or cavalier turbo.

My car was broken into back in July and since have brought it back to try and be better then ever, I will soon be taking it off the road to smooth the arches, flush the tailgate in and give it a full respray in an alfa romeo red with silver pearl and wine red shimmer

you can get a 2.2 turbo, its an astra coupe 2.2 with a turbo charger bolted on and I think its bored out slihgtly differently aswell but it is avalible. I'd love to have a 3.6 twin turbo lotus carlton engine stuck in but its too big to go in and would need the front of the car streched out! lmao... have been ofered a courtney sport tuned redtop breaking at around 190bhp which sounds quite fun, have found a nice throttol body kit and everything else to bring it 1bhp off 300!!! only problem its about 5 grand and I can hardly afford furl at the moment.

The supercharger would give the power from idle to 4k, the turbo from 4k to 7.5k and the boddies would just assist in the delivery of the fuel and air.

Si I think that a simple red top conversion would not only surprise you but give you the power you need to have fun in your corsa.

I guarantee you though once you get a taste for performance you will be much advised to move away from conversions to quite rare engines....tuning brings it's fair share of problems, struggling to find parts is the last thing you need.

No are you? and I'm a million miles from chav. on last read there were less than 150 geneuine R5GTT on the road in the UK that pritty much makes it a collectors car, your allready hard pused to find a good example of a clean one. skylines are common place, there's one on every corner these days. it's a simple equation of economics! which one will be worth money in a few years?
you can allready pay £5k upwards for the S1RST again another rair car you dont see good examples of these days. skylines are for show boaters and wanna be drifters. dont get me wrong there a nice car and if someone was offering me one i wouldnt say no but if i had a choice i would pick the R5 or RST every time!
