Know most of you wont give a shit but meh

Well its been a week so far, 1st 4 days I had interviews after interviews, but its all paid off and Ive landed myself a job with the largest Canadian General Contractor as a Construction Estimator.

I start on Tuesday (long weekend with a bank holiday coming up)

If Im honest Im shitting bricks but nevermind.

So flying here, had an hrs delay but not to much hassle other than being way over on my luggage limit, but luckily because I brought my fishing rod, and it had to go in as seperat luggage, I got an extra 10kg 'sports' equipement, free of charge, bonus. Flew over Greenland and there was shit load of icebergs

So arrive at the appartment, and Carolann has made a poster and the like, spot on haha

And the weather has been awesome, except one day where we had a proper nice lightening storm. but its been T shirt and shorts weather.

And the view each evening has been nice, sat on the balcony with a beer.

The roads and cars here are massive, nothing compairs.

So a week in and we've probably eaten out about 3 times simply because it is just so cheap, its the beer thats expensive here but Im training myself to take a liking to the local canadian beers.

Managed to get some fishing in while Caz has been at work, and had a few Carp, one in the high singles, the other mid teens, then been to the Toronto Islands today and managed to get this monster, Id say its somewhere in the high 20's but could be pushing low 30's, its hard to tel without scales but going off previous fish Ive caught then this is around the 30lb mark.

And to give you an idea, that net is a 2 foot net just to compare, plus this thing was FAT.

Also had a number of pike in the 4-5lb bracket with some bigger ones to 9lb

And how about this for a view while your fishing, not something you get every day

You get to see loads and loads of big carp just swimming around the harbour front

And to top it off, Ive seen some weird shit since Ive been here, I spotted a snake on the islands today aswell as my 1st racoon

Also a Canadian Goose nesting in a little bin

And finally, beaver munching
