As I went round a corner the only thing I saw was a pair of headlights right in front of me, luckily I was only doing 40mph, but the other car was doing at least twice that on my side of the road, he didnt even try to swerve. I only just had time to turn so it wasn't completely head-on.

I hurt my neck, back and ribs quite badly, was taken to hospital just after the police turned up (after 45 mins). I was wearing full combat gear, since I was on my way home from hunting with friends lol, quite embarrasing sitting in the ER in full combats :)
The other guy was charged at the scene, and hopefully wont be driving for quite some time. His passenger was messed up pretty badly, his fault for not wearing a seat belt :(

Still a very nice car, I like soft tops, but cant drive them, they dont tend to make the head bracings high enough for people that are 6'5" tall :( I don't really want to take the risk of being decapitated if I roll it :)

Yes, brand new (pretty much last off the production line before it closed) Renaultsport 182. My new one is silver though, had very little choice on the colour since mine was built to order. Hopefully some cash for my injuries to go with it.

The ironic thing is that I spent all afternoon a couple of days before the crash giving it a full clean inside and out. doesn't look like it in the after crash pictures, but thats my poor quality phone when I went to the accident centre to see it about a week after the collision.
