and today i got bored. it was sunny and i figured i should give it a much needed wash and polish and clean out.. then got giddy and decided to add a few things that have been sitting around for a while...

and after a good wash and scrub, and a back to black session, the arches keep fading out grey again so so the bumpers and arches will all get the paint treatment eventually.. but think she has scrubbed up quite well...

full gsi bodykit, slightly higher springs and a full exhaust system all sorted..

just gotta pick up starting in nottingham now as soon as paul arrives to get the kit.. the exhaust on the way home, and the springs when the stupid welsh twat answers the little thing ringing in the corner !!!

oh and i need a new petrol tank.. just found out i have quite a decent fuel leak due to corossion !!! awesome !

going to turn the kit matt black tomorrowand start trial fitting the front bumper, and figuring out how to attach the gsi skirts to a non gsi car ! dont have the same fitments down either sill to attach the skirts with. so a little head scratchin is in order.

whilst doing that ill also be sourcing a fuel tank and arranging to pick up some new suspension thats not quite as low... save me ripping the kit and new exhaust off the car the second i hit a speed bump !

Well.. another eventful day has passed..

and after yesterdays revelations of a slightly leaky fuel tank, some much needed work was in order,

went looking around the local breakers yards for decent fuel tanks only to find everyone seems to put big holes in them to drain them instead of saving them :lol: :lol:

so i went from this old rotted one, as you can see the seam has corroded and was leaking.. just a tad :lol:

BUT, whilst at the breakers yard, i came across a slightly modified corsa, just so happened to have a full 60mm suspension kit at what i was told were uprated 16v gsi /sport brakes with BRAND NEW disk and pads :D...

got the lot for a bargain 50 quid.. so could not complain !

How she now stands with the addition of new suspension and a matt black GSI bumper

Tomorrow i will finish off the side skirts and arches in the same matt black finish and make a start on trying to attach them to the car :S ..

Fingers crossed... Oh. pick up the Magnex exhaust system tomorrow also .. so ill get some pics of that on too ;)

Trial fit with arches etc in place - Had to cut down my original arches as the gsi ones were cut to fuck and most of the bolt clips missing, did a good job too they sit perfectly flush ;)

And as she currently sits, riveted to the underside and sealed, and bonded along the tops, all taped up securely now till she cures, will chech for any gaps and re seal tomorrow, and start prepping the skirts to be given the same matt black treatment as the bumper and arches have already recieved :D

Well got up bright and early to make a start, saw overcast clouds and thought "bollocks"...

luckily my bonding session went without a hitch and the skirts are fixed really well and strong in place, so i set about masking off and painting up the side skirts :)

Masked off and about 3 or so light coats applied, had two more after this and looks nice

Cant seeit in this pic, but both drivers side arches i had to use my originals as the GSI ones were knackered, but id back to blacked them a few days ago .. ass ache stuff... thought it may cause problems and it did. some or the arch paint pealed off due to residue still being on the arches, but easy fix job so not to arsed :)

After the car bottomed out trying to get onto the pit, we figured a ramp was the best bet :lol:

Exhaust fitting time :) ..

Bought a magnex system, centre section and box in 2" S/S with oval pipe.

was priced originally at £250, discounted to £230 .. thought go for it.. it was going to cost me nearly £180 or so to buy anything with only about 400 watts all together...

Got to the till, and was given a further 25% discount, so only cost £170 ....

Picked up an interior and some tyres last night,

Interior is similar to that of the sxi and such, black trim with lil dots on it..

bought doorcards, rear 1/4cards, and rear seats - £20.

and two nearly new Hankook 195/45/15 tyres - £10 each.. need them on as mine are getting low, and then a quick trip to the garage for my tracking sorting.

Now on the look out for some front seats !! and i have lots of plastic bits to paint black ! :D

Well on Thursday 31st July. She was half inched, and found in Rusholme with two till/cash registers sat in the back of her.

Missing the Audio equipment, a rear window, mirrors and has had the steering lock and ignition smashed to pieces.

also the front wheels are pointing in different directions and look buckled to high heaven. the body kit has been ripped to shreds, and basically the car is seriously unsalvagable.
