so yeah update time :)

gear4box now all bolted up propperly the unknown bolt under pendlum now bolted up tight as it should be :) and vynal removed from lights and bonnet ready for matt blacking :) cheers to random for the help today fella

warmish today so thought id get some work done :) bonnet and lights fully wet n dryed down now so there ready for paint started sanding the glue from the roof but ran out of sandy paper lol boot is gettin there slowly but needs more filler :)

well quite abit of progress this morning as my oil feed bolt turned up as did the rad cap :D fianlly ! so anyhow we cracked on with glue removing it took us about a hour ish to finnish off the roof but atleast 10-15mins of that were stood talking to about 5 coppers that were walking around one of them suggested putting rollbars onit until we corrected him saying " aint they illigal tho" then he corrected himself to say roll cage witch brought a smile to our faces :mrgreen:

so anyhow bonet roof and lights now ready for primer n paint :) boot will be done some point this week :D

Right today brought the bodyfiller and primer out... did the dents in the bonnet and then primered them up, did the lights primered them up, thought fuck it primered the whole bonnet did start the boot also but with the light fadeing i stoped for today

Water feeds for the turbo now also fully blocked off :) so thats ready to go back on now just need to pop and get some bolts from Bnq for the manifold :)

Ok braved the chance of rain today and got my front coils on :) not changed the height they were set at as they were ok i thought still alittle arch gap nothing some nice 16/17s wont sort tho :) oh and now i cant jack it up with a trolly jack :( twat lol

ok well day got off to a lonley start with danny being 4hours late as usuall :lol: so i thought id carry on and fit the rear coilovers.... so danny finally turns up half asleep like and we crack on with geting the turbo bolted back on after finally geting the car high enough to get the jack under thanks to a Hefty peice of wood to put the wheel on lol went on like a peice of piss oil pipes all connected exc we were good to go... so we thought...we took out sparkys and fuel pump fuse and turned it over for awhile to lube and prime the system again after it hasnt been run for a good while...so all back in exc turned it over it just turned didnt seem to fire just turn over and over... so out came the sparkys again to see if they were sparking yep that was fine... fuel... pump was working ( we put fresh fuel in also ) so it could be ither of 2-3 things now witch ill trey tomorrow... cam crank senser not in the right position... i did have it off awhile ago might be a few mill out or the vacume pipe to the fuel reg... witch i will change tomorrow for some new stuff :) updates soon Cheers to dan and fran for the help today :) heres some pics of the rainy dull day

well now the fuel problems sorted i thought i best get the inside ready for welding so off comes the shitty tar from the sound deadning ( what a fookin shite job ) hard work to get the fooker off but looks much better now soon to be painted matt black after the welding

finally got around to mounting the engine up to the stand on sat, drained oil checked bottom end all ok, bit of a blocked oil sucker but ill replace that oer clean it up depending how bad it is, inlet off and then the head, no supprise theres no compression on cylinder 1 as 2 of the head bolts went even tight ! what a fking joke, as you can see from one of the pics the gasket looks like new, anyway new headbolts and gasket on the way put it back together and see what shes like next weekend maybe, pics
